Senator Thanh Hai Ngo was the guest speaker at a town hall meeting on December 15 2012 at the McNabb Community Centre. The event, hosted by the Vietnamese Canadian Community of Ottawa, gave local Vietnamese-Canadian residents an opportunity ask questions and raise issues with their newly appointed Senator. The Senator also took this opportunity to present Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals. For more photos, please click here.

On arrival, Senator Ngo attended a wine and cheese event where he met with various community members, religious leaders, Buddhist monks and lawyers from Montreal. On December 1st 2012, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo met with members of the Vietnamese Unified Buddhist Congregation of Canada at the Truc Lam Monastery.
