On Saturday June 15th Senator Thanh Hai Ngo met with the former Taiwanese Premier Mr. Su, MP Lois Brown the Conservative Representative for Newmarket, Ontario and Mr. John Mackay, the Liberal Representative for Scarborough-Guildwood, Ontario. Buddha’s Birthday Celebrations and Boat People Museum Gala

The three largest Buddhist temples in Mississauga hosted a public Vesak celebration on June 1st 2013 to mark the birth of Buddha. The program also included Buddhist chants and blessings, cultural performances and inspirational speeches from special guests, included Minister Jason Kenney and Mayor Hazel McCallion.
