From July 25 to 29 2013, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo flew to Boston at his own expense to attend the Alliance for Democracy Conference, where members came together to support the cause of freedom and democracy in Vietnam. On July 28th, Senator Ngo also attended the 23rd commemoration ceremony in honour of Professor Nguyen Ngoc Huy. For more photos, please click here

Senator Thanh Hai Ngo served as special guest speaker and officially welcomed dozens of Canada’s newest citizens during the July 16th Citizenship Ceremony in Ottawa. The Senator spoke about Canadian values, responsibilities, and the rights and freedoms that accompany a Canadian citizenship. Senator Ngo also remarked on how immigrants originating from different parts of the world have come to enrich the Canadian national fabric. On July 11th 2013, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo served as the special guest speaker at the Citizenship Ceremony in Ottawa to welcome and congratulate dozens of Canada’s newest citizens.
