Senator Ngo was in Vaughan, Ontario on August 9th, 2014 to visit the Golden Age Village for the Elderly. This not-for-profit elderly care facility is currently in the process of expansion on the 5.6 acre property on Pine Valley Drive and will be specialized for Vietnamese Canadian seniors. On August 9, 2014, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo travelled to Toronto accompanied by his team of interns to attend the annual picnic organized by the Vietnamese Association of Toronto. Senator Ngo was the special guest at the event, welcoming all the families, friends, and Vietnamese community members to this gathering and thanking them for the invitation.
