Ottawa Mid-Autumn Festival

September 27, 2015

On September 27, Senator Ngo returned to Ottawa to attend the Mid-Autumn Festival hosted by the Vietnamese Canadian Community of Ottawa; a traditional celebration of the 15th day of the eighth lunar moon. There were approximately 300 children accompanied by their parents in attendance who celebrated the festival with many different activities, including lantern making and lion dancing. Vietnamese Youth Meeting

September 26, 2015

September 26th, 2015, Senator Ngo met with a few of his former interns to discuss ways to keep in touch with all fellow interns, including those who participated in the different waves of the Program, as well as many different outreach strategies within the community of Vietnamese-Canadian youth in order to encourage peers to get involved. New York Multinational Efforts to Strengthen Freedom of Religion or Belief

Viet Summer Fest 2015

On September 6, 2015, Senator Ngo attended the Viet Summer Fest in Mississauga which is a showcase of Vietnamese culture featuring live performances on the Mississauga Celebration Square main stage from popular singers, folk musicians, dancers, and performance artists. Thank You Journey to Freedom Day Act Gala

On September 5, 2015, Senator Ngo attended the Thank You Journey to Freedom Day Act Gala as the special guest in honour of his bill that commemorates the fall of Saigon and the boat people exodus every year on April 30th.
