On March 10, Senator Ngo was delighted to join members of the Alumni Association of the National School of Public Administration in Vietnam at their Annual Gala Dinner in Montreal. On March 3, Senator Ngo joined the Vietnamese Canadian community in Toronto to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Tet Offensive Massacre of 1968. Although in Vietnamese culture, The Lunar New Year or “Tet” is a time for celebration and new hope, the Tet Offensive Massacre marked a dark chapter in Vietnamese history.
