Demonstration for Human Rights and Democracy in Vietnam on Parliament Hill

On Saturday, September 29, Senator Ngo joined hundreds of members from the Vietnamese Canadian community in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Sherbrooke among other cities in a demonstration on Parliament Hill to demand freedom, human rights, and democracy for those living in Vietnam. This annual event is part of a global movement that collectively voices human rights issues in Vietnam and peacefully protests the injustices and violations that are unfortunately ongoing throughout the country. Mid-Autumn Children’s Festival 2018

On September 22, Senator Ngo was invited by the Vietnamese Women’s Association of Toronto, in collaboration with the Vietnamese Association of Toronto and other Vietnamese groups in the GTA, to attend the annual Mid-Autumn Children Festival at the Oakdale Community Centre in North York. The festival is a unique celebration of the identity, cultural heritage and contributions of the Vietnamese people in Canada. Special Event for the Movement to Support Democracy in Vietnam

On September 8th, Senator Ngo was invited by the Committee to Support Vietnam’s Human Rights & Democracy Movement, Toronto, to attend a Special Event to Raise Awareness Furthering Human Rights and Democracy in Vietnam.
