Citizenship Ceremony 2013 – 2

Senator Thanh Hai Ngo served as special guest speaker and officially welcomed dozens of Canada’s newest citizens during the July 16th Citizenship Ceremony in Ottawa. The Senator spoke about Canadian values, responsibilities, and the rights and freedoms that accompany a Canadian citizenship. Senator Ngo also remarked on how immigrants originating from different parts of the world have come to enrich the Canadian national fabric.  He encouraged new citizens to do the same and actively participate in building Canada’s future.
