Vietnamese Tết Toronto Festival 2015 with PM Stephen Harper

On February 1^st 2015, the Right Honourable Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Ministers Jason Kenney, Chris Alexander, Bal Gosal and Senator Ngo Thanh Hai were accompanied by several Senators and Members of Parliament at the 30th annual Toronto Tet Festival in Toronto, Ontario to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Goat.

The Festival is a commemoration of the struggle and triumph of Vietnamese-Canadians starting 40 years ago when many fled Vietnam to find freedom in distant lands. We honour Canada for opening up its hearts to thousands of desperate people 40 years ago who are now an integral part of the Canadian multicultural fabric.
