Alumni Association Gala and Town Hall Meeting

On March 10, Senator Ngo was delighted to join members of the Alumni Association of the National School of Public Administration in Vietnam at their Annual Gala Dinner in Montreal. The event commemorated the School’s history and celebrated the many achievements of its former teachers and students in Canada and worldwide.

On March 11, Senator Ngo was the key speaker at a Town Hall Meeting with members of the Vietnamese Canadian community in the region. The Senator discussed topics ranging from immigration and corruption in Vietnam, to the Magnitsky Act and proposed Bill C-45 (Cannabis Act).  It was also an opportunity to present Dr. Dao Ba Ngoc with the Senate 150th Anniversary Medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese Canadian community in Montreal.
