Citizenship Ceremony May 2013

On May 1st 2013, Senator Thanh Hai Ngo spoke on behalf of the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration, and Multiculturalism to welcome and congratulate Canada’s newest citizens in Ottawa.  Joining Canada’s newest members were students visiting from across Canada as part of the Rotary Adventure Citizenship Program.  Senator Ngo acknowledged the importance of immigration in shaping the unique history of Canada.  Senator Ngo also encouraged Canadian citizens to continue this legacy through assuming the responsibility to be engaged and involved in contributing to the future of Canada.
