Lunar New Year (Tết) Festival in Toronto

On February 4, 2017 Senator Ngo joined the Vietnamese Canadian community in Toronto in celebration of the annual Lunar New Year (Tết) Festival. The Lunar New Year is a special time for family and friends to reunite and enjoy the season’s blessings. The event has been hosted by the Vietnamese Association, Toronto (VAT), for the past forty years, and showcases the many traditions, talents, and cuisine of the Vietnamese community in Canada. Also present were a number of distinguished guests, including Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.
